The "National Company KazMunayGas" Joint-Stock Company has joined the Association of RES "Qazaq Green", becoming a full member of the association.
The National Company, taking into account the importance of the climate agenda, supports the goals of Kazakhstan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 and to reduce greenhouse gases by 15% of the 1990 level.
"KazMunayGas" has adopted a low-carbon development strategy until 2031. One of the goals of the strategy is to define the company's climate ambitions and systematize the main approaches and measures to reduce its carbon footprint.
