Qazaq Green Association is an official Knowledge Partner for the high-level international investment conference Energy Week Central Asia & Mongolia 2022.
The event will take place on April 26 - 28 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and bring together the authorities, project operators of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Mongolia, as well as IFIs/DFIs, multinational energy companies.
The conference aims to address the challenges of the clean energy transition, intermittency, and energy security, discuss implemented reforms, suitable support schemes and policy reversals in some countries, as well as consider how individual countries attract investors and advanced technologies for projects in the field of hydropower, solar and wind energy, along with energy storage and hydrogen.
The conference will be followed by the Technical visit to Nur Navoi SPP (100 MW), which is the first utility-scale solar power plant to begin operation in Uzbekistan launched in August 2021 by Masdar under the IFC Scaling Solar programme.
